New Hard Drive

Featured Replies

Hi All,I've just installed 2 new hard drives that I want to have dedicated to FSX, but they don't show up in Vista. In the BIOS it doesn't show any drives in SATA 1/2 but I did set up a raid array which showed both of the new drives in the list, so I am confused. When I boot I get a screen which says detecting raid array and reports that it is healthy and shows the 2 drives.I have a Packard Bell i8850/Vista 32 bit home premium.I would apperciate any help as I thought it was just going to be a matter of installing the drives and that would be that.CheersMikeI have just disable the nvRaid and now both drives show up in bothe the BIOS and the device manager, so they are being detected but they still won't show up in Explorer. Please help.

Hi Mike,Sounds like a missing driver inside Vista, you installed the RAID driver also?Regards,
