December 26, 200718 yr just got this stick/throttle combo today and i've got it setup pretty much the way i want as far as programming the buttons and switches but the stick itself seems to "stick" when in a pitch or a turn. it's like a rough area in its travel when you're moving it. doesn't seem to effect the sim to much but it just seems a bit odd.i mainly got it for all the programable buttons.i still have my wingman extreme 3D which i think is one of the greatest except for its lack of buttons, only has 6 or 7 but it sure feels nice and flies great.anyway i was wondering if anyone else has this saitek x52 and noticed the same thing if so maybe you can clue me in. not sure if it's just like that or if something might be wrong like a defect or something. thanks, william
December 27, 200718 yr I've had an X52 for around two years now. It should get full travel without any sticking.L.Adamson
December 27, 200718 yr glad to hear that. any idea what might be causing mine to do that? there's a mouse imput on the throttle and i noticed that after i installed everything the sound wasn't working in the sim. i looked in my taskbar and there's a setting for volume and it was muted. i unmuted it and got the sound back. i'm thinking something turned the sound to mute and i know that a mouse and a soundcard can share the same inputs somehow or another and i'm wondering if there might be a connection in there somehow.that's about the only thing i can come up with at the moment. may i ask how you have your "deadspaces" set? there might be someting there too. william
December 27, 200718 yr guess i have it setup wrong as it flies the 747 in the same way as the baron 58...erratic, sudden, jerky movements. that ain't working. i'm a sucker for good looks... like this saitek x52 but as pretty as you are, you're going back in the morning. william
