January 2, 200818 yr My current gateway dinosaur uses rdram. My dad has two gigs of ddr in an old computer. How would I know if my motherboard can accept rdram? My computer is going on 6 years old. It's P4 2.4ghz with 512mb of ram. I do know that the ram can hold 2gb of ram in pairings of 512. I'm going to be building a new computer over the next couple months but I want to add more ram while I get the last legs of out this one. Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance.Cheers,Tim
January 2, 200818 yr RDRAM and DDR are not interchangeable. If your system uses RDRAM your father's DDR will be of no use to you.You can learn more about what exactly you have in your system using this.Regards,
