Thanks for the heads up. I downloaded/installed and FSX seems to be running with better FPS but difficult to determine for sure. Sim appears more stable. It did not fix the tearing/stuttering on several runways/taxiways with DX10 Preview turned on (only checked out default, Friday's Harbor). I saw almost no change with the 3dMark06 benchmark. I doubt these will stay on my system long but will give them a try for a few days longer.Jim
