October 15, 200817 yr First get a good CPU cooler, here: http://www.directron.com/u120e.htmlNow set your FSB to 400 and Vcore to 1.3v.That will get the CPU to 3.6. Get the hardware stable there. Now bump the multi 10x. That will get the CPU to 4.0Ghz (bump vCore to 1.35v if necessary). Intel's "speed step" will reduce the multi under low-load and pop it back up when it sees a load. This is a good thing. You're done, almost.Install Vista 64. That will solve the OOMs. Now you're done.
October 15, 200817 yr Just make sure you don't install your OS on an overclocked machine. Whatever OC'ing you do, do it AFTER everything is installed, updated, and optimized. Never before.-jk
