The best OOM solution was written by Bill Leaming on the FSX Forum. It's a detailed step-by-step guide for fixing this problem. You can do a search on AVSIM on the FSX Forum using OOM as your keyword and the document should come up. It's currently located on the 3d search page and is entitled, ""OOM Error" explained in comprehensible English". It provides detailed step by step procedures for fixing your problem. You will still continue to receive OOM errors if you turn your FSX.cfg sliders up to max. I would keep them at the default levels until your system has "stabilized" and then slowly increase a slider, as appropriate.Best regards,Jim

It don't help. :(Grtz.

So far I can confidently say that any memory related errors that I had before on Windows XP are now completely gone after I did a fresh installation of Vista x64.One thing that did help me a lot while I was using XP was the use of the /3GB switch. In Vista x64 I don't use any switch at all nor do I use any kind of tweaks. It simply runs well.

What did you set your "increaseuserva=" after you ran BCDEdit? 2560? Sometimes this can be higher or lower based on the memory in your video card. You didn't indicate how much memory you have on board the 260 GPU. Whatever is on there is taking up some of that 4GB memory you have on your system. You have to "tweak" this "increaseuserva" as appropriate. If you're not familiar with computer systems, you might have to contact a knowledgeable friend or professional to help you with this. This info may not be in your language too and that can make things confusing too. I fully understand. This IS the fix for your problem other than moving most of your sliders all the way to the left in your FSX settings. Make sure you have the top scenery slider set no higher than medium (level of detail). I could faithfully replicate this error by just moving this slider to high and get rid of the error by lowering it to medium. Best regards,Jim
