I'm looking for documention and examples of how to use FlightGear for a networked multi-display. I've read all the docs and have not yet found details of how to do it.Thanks

I've read all the>docs and have not yet found details of how to do it.Look for a file called README.IO in the docs section. It has a brief explanation. If that's not enough to get you going, just holler.Curt.

Thanks Curt...I read the doc and much more. I now have an understanding of what is supposed to happen. I'm using Win32 v0.9.4.I used the FG Wizard to setup the parameters. I use the Advanced Button to set the I/O as per the README.IO. I don't know where I can add the Option "--fdm=external" ?Now that I've messed with the parameters, FG doesn't start anymore. The DOS screen opens and closes so fast that I can't read what's wrong.I tried to edit the "system.fgfsrc" directly with Notepad, but everytime a run the Wizard to start FG, the previous set of parameters are put back. Is there another parameters file that the Wizard uses?I tried using both TCP and UDP styles with various sockets, and I specified the IP address of the server. Here is my latest SERVER setup:C:Program FilesFlightGearbinWin32fgfs.exe --fg-root=C:Program FilesFlightGeardata --fg-scenery=C:Program FilesFlightGeardataScenery;C:Program FilesFlightGearscenery --airport-id=O29 --runway=16 --aircraft=c172-ifr --control=joystick --disable-splash-screen --disable-intro-music --enable-mouse-pointer --enable-random-objects --disable-hud-3d --enable-horizon-effect --enable-enhanced-lighting --enable-distance-attenuation --random-wind --turbulence=0.07 --ceiling=2000 --httpd=5500 --props=5501 --jpg_httpd=5502 --native=socket,out,5,192.168.1.115,8500,tcp --native=socket,out,5,192.168.1.133,8500,tcp --prop:/environment/clouds/layer[1]/elevation-ft=1700 --prop:/environment/clouds/layer[1]/thickness-ft=1010 --prop:/environment/clouds/layer[1]/coverage=brokenHere is my slave setup:C:Program FilesFlightGearbinWin32fgfs.exe --fg-root=C:Program FilesFlightGeardata --fg-scenery=C:Program FilesFlightGeardataScenery;C:Program FilesFlightGearscenery --airport-id=Q99 --aircraft=c172-ifr --control=mouse --disable-splash-screen --disable-intro-music --disable-random-objects --disable-hud-3d --disable-specular-highlight --wind=27.2161@10 --turbulence=0.16 --ceiling=3000 --httpd=5500 --props=5501 --jpg_httpd=5502 --native=socket,in,30,,8500,tcpAny suggestions?Nick P.
