747 too fast

Hi,im using flightgear on my Unix machine.Since i use 9.4 the flight dynamics of the 747 changed in the way that i cant actually slow the plane down when on approach to some airport.On version 9.3 everything was ok.this is what happens on 9.4:Actually i set the wind to 0 knots to have neutral conditions.When i establish ils on lets say 5000 feet, im on 250 knots airspeed.now i set the throttle to 0 but im getting faster although my vertical speed is the regular -1000 feet. at that speed of 250 i cant set flaps because the plane would start digging the nose down and get out of control. putting gear down doesnt help either.
