Hi,I've just downloaded and installed v. 0.94, I run the desktop icon, choose the plane and airport, adjust options, untill the program asks for a confirmation about overwriting a file, and then... nothing happens. I tried to locate the "runfgfs.bat" file called in the pdf guide shipped, but it doesn't exist.How can I launch the simulator?Sorry, I am not accustomed in writing commands, so, please, be patient... :)Thanks in advanceEnrico

I managed to run the program!!!Here is what I did (don't know which part is the key-part, so I describe all):1) completely disinstall the game (includind the folder in c:/documents and settings/user/application data/flightgear)2) deactivate the antivirus (I use Antivir)3) re-install the game by means of the setup-fgfs0.9.4.exe file4) after the choice of plane and airport, DON'T OPEN the "ADVANCED" dialogue5) when asked for rewriting the cinfiguration, click Yes6) in 2-3 seconds, the game start as a windowGood luck to all the people who suffered the same problem

I downloaded and installed fgsetup-0.9.5a.exe on windows2000 system because the 3D function of my graphic card (SIS630) is not supported by suselinux 8.2A DOS window appears with the message 'failed to find 28R at airport 02Q'; it happens with any airport and the FlightGear dosen't start.What can I do?Idisabled antivirus and repeated the intallation but nothing changed

wellit's quite simplewhen you start FG you chose your plane than your airport.Airport O2Q has no runway number 28r so FG can't select it.When you select you airport select the runway number in the right part of the window and everything should be okGood flight

I tried to select the runway (the default and the others) only in the right window, but now a dos window appear and immediately disappear so fastly that I can't read it.I still stay on the ground

If there is a dos window then you are right.It may help to bring this dos window to the front. Sometimes it needs a little push. And when I select an airport and I do/n't select a runway then I get this error message too but it goes on and I finally find myself on the right runway.byeKai

I changed the plane wiht another model of cessna and it started the sound and the view of the cockpit with the string Scenary loading in the middle.I tried to extend the FlightGear window but it stopped itself.I used the Boing 737 for the next attempt but after several minutes of Scenary Loading I clicked on the Dos window to check for error messages: the computer switched off as if I pushed on the reset botton of the cabinet.I maid other attempts but it was locked with the string Scenary Loading

That with the reset sounds bad.There's something with the aircrafts. If I select a wrong one then my pc hangs up heavily. It's hard to stop FG. The Cessna 182 is one of those that work well..
