September 29, 200421 yr Hi!I recently installed 0.9.5a on Windows XP Pro. When I try to start it, it dies with the following error:Updating time Current Unix calendar time = 1096416468 warp = 0 Current GMT = 9/29/2004 0:7:48 Current Unix calendar time = 1096416468 warp = 0 Current GMT = 9/29/2004 0:7:48 Current Julian Date = 2.45328e+006 COURSE: GMT = 8/29/104 0:07:48 March 21 noon (GMT) = 1079888400 Time since 3/21/104 GMT = 191.297 days = 191 hours = 0.13 lon = 0 lst = 0.863333 COURSE: GMT = 8/29/104 0:07:48 March 21 noon (GMT) = 1079888400 Time since 3/21/104 GMT = 191.297 days = 191 hours = 0.13 lon = 122.382 lst = 16.7045 Current lon=0.00 Sidereal Time = 0.66995 gst => 120.67 Current LOCAL Sidereal Time = 16.5111 (16.5112) (diff = -0.193383)After fgInitTimeOffset(): warp = 0Panel visible = 0Refreshing timestamps for -999.938 0.0625updateLocal(-2.13597, 0.656401, c:/program files/flightgear/data/Timezone)In memory sounds sampleinterpolate(): lookup error, x to small = -10012In memory sounds sampleIn memory sounds sampleUnknown exception in the main loop. Aborting...Deleting a sampleI found the same error mentioned at http://www.seedwiki.com/page.cfm?doc=Fix%2...lem&wikiid=2418 on an Irix system. There it was stated that disabling ATC and turning sound off cured the problem. In my case it does not. The curious thing is that it still beeps just before crashing - even with the sound disabled. The one other thing that may be different on my machine is that it has two Opteron CPU's.Does anyone have any ideas on how to get around this problem or failing that, where I can find version 0.9.3 again. That one ran fine on this machine, but unfortunately, I overwrote it.regards,Alan
