http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/95248.jpgHey guys , i have already downloaded the FlightGear today , it is nice , the aircrafts model have more details then X-Plane`s , but i still have some problems :1 , How can a 747 take off and fly in the solar (Though i have modiffited the resource file to use "-FDM=yasim" "-Aircraft=747" , but the panel of 747 have ONLY TWO CFM engine boots , so when i power up the engines , it feels like i have ONLY TWO ENGINES BUT ALL OF THEM UNDER THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE MAIN WINGS . , it make me very unhappy because my 747 will turn the round on the runway and can`t take off any more .) I guess maybe all engines can be powered up by press one key on keyboard , or just another way that the 4 engines of the 747 can power up together with the same specs , i know FlightGear less so counld anyone tell me how to do ?? May be Jim was trying to keep the polycount down, or may be he didn't have enough information to add the slats.Speaking of information, the lack of it is quite a problem for us. It is a major reason why many aircrafts are incomplete. This is an area where you as the users can help.We don't need pictures; there are plenty on the Internet. What we do need are data related to dimensions of various portions of the aircrafts, and aircraft handling characteristics. Cockpit layouts and detailed drawings of instrument panels will help, particularly if you want to see those 3D cockpits get finished for your favourite aircraft.

Many thanks to point me , thank you a lot !!i`ll try the "page up" key , using my Macintosh computer`s apple pro keyboard , i hope it can be done !!I know flight-simulator well but know the software souce-code less , but i have also good in ART and have alreay re-paint a lot of aircraft paints in X-Plane , so i think maybe i can help Flight-Gear a bit on aircraft textures build , Also i have installed the SGIformat Plug-in for photoshop that my computer can easily import , edit and export any .rgb files which is FlightGear aircrafts` texture files .I think that will be fine soon .
