I can't get my Thrustmaster Topgun joystick to work correctly.I calibrated it with:>jscal -c /dev/input/js0Then i copied and renamed the file to joystick.xml/usr/lib/FlightGear/data/Input/Joysticks/ThrustMaster/FCS.xmlto/usr/lib/FlightGear/data/Input/Joysticks/Default/joystick.xmlTo start i enter:fgfs --control=joystickThe joystick is has a serial plug with a USB adaptor.What else can I do?Running SuSE 9.2 Pro

This is kind of an old thread, but I thought I'd throw in something that may or may not be helpful.I use an old Gravis Xterminator dual control USB stick, and I've been meaning to get around to making a nice joystick file for it, for use with FG... someday :-)Anyway, the program from Gravis includes a setup proggie whereby you can create a game file and assign keystrokes to each joystick position/button. Perhaps Thrustmaster has something like this, or someone has come up with a little open source program to do the same thing? It's a workaround and not a solution.
