can anyone PLEASE help me get flightgear going on my imac osx 10.3 ?!?!i've been trying all day, but to no avail. i'm trying to get the resource file going through unix code using the terminal and it just doesn't do what the README file says it should be doing. i'm extremely excited to use this program, so if there are any mac pros out there, help would be wonderful!!joe

There are more and more Apple users successfully running FlightGear, but probably still not enough that you'll get help here. Better subscribe to the flightgear-users mailing list, and ask there:http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-usersAnd please describe there what exactly you did, and what doesn't work as you would expect or as the README says. Your above description is a bit vague. The better the question, the better the answer. :-)

I've just today got the latest 0.9.8-pre2 download through: http://macflightgear.sourceforge.net/ It installed automatically using the installer provided and runs like an out-of-the-box application straight away, if a little slowly on my old machine. Is this what you are using? What imac do you have? If it's an 'original' model it may struggle to get off the ground in hardware terms...HTH,TimCube 450; nVidia Geforce2 16MB; 768MB RAM
