January 11, 200521 yr Thanks for the reply Hardraade.I'm using the latest release of Flightgear posted by 'artooro'. He includes a script file for OS X, which actually comprises an application package containing a configuration applescript file.I don't think this is in any documentation yet, so for anyone else who needs this, you do the following to edit your own options:Duplicate the the Flightgear.app file which gets installed in "applications" folder - rename the copy to suit you ("Yourname");control-click this file to get the pop-up menu and choose "show package contents"; go into 'contents' folder, then 'resources' folder, then 'scripts' folder';Double-click "Flightgear.scpt" to launch Applescript - in the middle of the script file there is the command line to which to can amend/ append information as detailed in the help files;Save the Applescript and try launching Flightgear by double-clicking "Yourname" in the applications folder.example attached for comparison. thanks for the pointer, hardraade :-)tim
