Hiya. Just thought Id mention here that myself and 4 other guys from University College Dublin are about to start hacking on the source code for flight gear as our 3rd year final project in software engineering. We'll be doing everything from Linux. So far we are looking to expand the multi-player capabilities of the sim to work over the internet and possible over other platforms. as I understand its currently only working for Linux users over a LAN.... We also are looking to modify some existing military type aircraft to add the ability to fire weapons, and thus provide a facility to engage in dog-fights etc.. with friends over the internet or LAN... Any comments on this welcome as are any other suggestions...Keith.
