Dear,I'm new to Flight Gear simulator and i have been just able to take off...Anyway I tried also to download some chunk of scenery of the world from:http://www.flightgear.org/Downloads/scenery-0.9.8.htmlI'm able to download the files (more thna 100 MB usual) but when I go to unzip the file I receive an error saying, more or less, "0 entry".I tried with more than one chunck and the result is the same.Can someone help me?Thanks,Massimo

FlightGear is available for different platforms, and it's always a good idea to mention yours. Anyway: the scenery files are *.tar.gz archives, and if you have problems with them, it's likely that you are using MICROS~1 Windows user. If so, then you can unpack them with the unfree WinZip, or the free (and better) 7zip (http://www.7-zip.org/).

Thanks,I'm working with MS WS 2K and I used the default winzip but unsuccessfully.Anyway, just yesterday, I downloaded WRAR from the web, since it was said to be more powerful than winzip. Indeed, it worked fined and I had my scenery untarred.Massimo
