Flight Gear Problems

Featured Replies

Hello everybody, I have downloaded Flight Gear for Windows, and each time I try to run an airplane there is always an error loading some file. The massages I am getting looks something like this: -Failed to load electrical system model. -Legacy engine definition in YASim configuration file. Please fix. -Failed to tie property propulsion/c-thrust [0] to a pointer I have tried to uninstall and reinstall FG, but the same problems reoccurred. My system: Pentium 3 Processor 256 SDRam Windows XP Professional N-Vidia 128 DDR memoryRegards to Everyone.

Try going into Application Data which is in the Documents and Settings folder and deleting the files in there.

Thank you for your kind answer I have done exactly what you have mention, but I still have the same problems beside that airplanes now get out of control and sharply turn left at the middle of the runway, and I started to receive this new error massage:Legacy engine definition in YASim configuration file. Please fix.Best regards and thank you again.

Try using the aircraft c182 rather than c172.By the way, when did you start using FlightGear and what version of FlightGear are you currently using?

Thank you for your answer, I have started using Flight Gear Since one month, and I am using version 0.9.8aRegards,
