The Spring 2005 issue of "Back of the Envelope" has been posted at the JSBSim web site (www.jsbsim.org).This issue features lots of news on various projects where JSBSim is being used. There is also an article on a new editor that is well into development - an editor that combines many aspects of creating a JSBSim configuration file.Click on the Newsletter link, or select a specific newsletter to view at the top of the main page on the JSBSim web site.Enjoy!Jon

>This newsletter is unreadable on machines that use something>else instead of Acrobat Reader. How about: "It's unreadable on _your_ machine, with _your_ PDF reader."?>From an open source project i expect PDF files that are>readable with open source PDF readers. You're making an assumption. It's readable under the open source GSView32 (Ghostscript) - I know, I tested it. And it's readable under Acrobat, by Adobe, who defines the PDF standard.Maybe you should try a better open source reader? Also, Acrobat is free.Jon

> Maybe you should try a better open source reader? Also, Acrobat is free.I second that. Works perfectly here under Linux, with: kpdf, xpdf, acrobat reader, and gs (ghostscript). Only outdated versions of pdftotxt and pdftohtml didn't work. I wouldn't blame the Newsletter for that, though.

I didn't have any problems opening/reading the newsletter either, and yes I am using Linux/opensource tools (kpdf, gsview etc.)
