PSS/POSKY 747 Merge

Recommended Posts

Guest flightpro08

Hey everyone,I am sure this has been asked a thousand times, but I have been unable to get the search function of these forums to work on my comptuer (it just hangs whenever trying to search an extended period of time.)Anyhow, has anyone found a way to merge POSKY's new GMAX 747-400 visual model with PSS's 747 panel using PSS's FDE (aircraft.cfg and air file)? I've been using POSKY's FDE, but due to some various issues, I'd like to see if there's a way to using PSS's.Ryan-Flightpro08 :-cool VATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Senior Controller (C-3)ASRC (Advanced Simulated Radar Client) Beta Tester-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 42.01 Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition SP1*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 11298-----------------------------Click Here to Download my American Eagle POSKY CRJ-200!

What I do is put the posky textures in the PSS-747 folder. Then modify the PSS aircraft.cfg file to add the new paint scheme and replace the the orginal aircraft.cfg contact points with the one from the posky aircraft.cfg. You can not use the old PSS supplied liveries anymore (like anybody cares) but you now get an great Posky model and liveries. I hope I explained myself well enough. Plus, everything works perfect for me with this set up!Dave

Check out the forum at www.projectopenksy.com. This issued has been covered and there are many threads that provide information regarding any problems trying to merge the two together.
