Flight Gear wont load

Featured Replies

Hi EveryoneI have just recently installed flight gear 0.9.8. I run flight gear and choose my aircraft and location. Once i have clicked run it will load up with a picture of a plane and the title "flight gear" but then all of a sudden the program will crash. After checking the flight gear launcher it says I have this following error:'Unknown exception in the main loop. Aborting...''Possible cause: No such file or directory' Can someone please tell me how I can solve this problem. Thanks in advance,Scott

Also, please note that it is generally a good idea to provide all information that may be helpful to track your issues down, thus it would definitely make sense if you could provide some background information about your system (OS, hardware etc.).As an aside, FlightGear itself is currently not "officially" supported via this forum, thus if you really need help urgently, your best bet is likely going to be one of the FlightGear mailing lists (where you would have to subscribe to, in order to be able to post your inquries).
