newbie problems (locations, aircraft)

I installed fgfs 0.9.8 to Mandriva 2006.0 using urpmi from Mandriva's contrib source. The base package runs nicely. After initial practice I wanted to fly in familiar places to see how they look, so I downloaded sceneries to Northern Europe and extarcted them to Scenery directory as instructed. But I haven't got there yet!I tried to locate myself to Helsinki from menu and command line using airport codes EHFK and HEL, but it always took me to San Francisco. Trying to specify position like --in-air --lon=24 --lat=60 --heading=90 --altitude=5000 doesn't work - the sim doesn't start up, but hangs on the splash screen. So, how do I get fg to know where HEL is? The ftp site has .tar.gz files in AirportsOverlay -directory. Do they help, how are they used.I also downloaded an A320. I got the sounds and performance on an A320, but the plane looks like a sailplane. Also the panel seems like a prop plane's. How do I get it to look like A320?

The A320 has a dependency on the 747.Go to http://www.flightgear.org/Downloads/aircraft/ , download and install the 747, and you should be fine.
