How to use FG on a powerbook?

Featured Replies

I would appreciate some help with this:I have a mac powerbook G4 with mac OS 10.3.9 and FlightGear 0.9.8.Basic commands (throttle, aileron, elevator, rudder) are assigned to the numeric keypad. My powerbook does not have a numeric keypad. Is it possible to reassign those controls to other keys? Could a nitwit do it? For instance it would be nice to have throttle assigned to "arrow up" and "arrow down" keys and ailerons to"left arrow" and "right arrow" keys.I'm really anxious to take off and have some fun.Thank you :-)

Using the keyboard to fly the plane is a very bad idea. You should use the touch pad instead. As for the throttle, it is mapped to Page Up and Page Down, so you shouldn't need a numeric keypad for that.
