What button>do i have to press?>>Thanks in advance! This may depend on the type of aircraft you are using, however in general the gear should be bound to the g/G key (g=gear up, G=gear down). Also, please note that there is indeed some documentation available under $FG_ROOT/Docs, in addition to that most aircraft come meanwhile with a minimalistic custom key dialog that should be available via the help menu.

>Thanks for the answers, i just have two more questions.>>1. How can i get my aircraft to make these lines?>>http://flightgear.org/images/contrails_001.jpgThe 737 contrails are based on FlightGear sub-models, see $FG_ROOT/Aircraft/737/submodels.xml and $FG_ROOT/Docs/README.submodels for details about how to add this functionality to your own aircraft.>2. Is there any map in the game where i can se where my>aircraft is?The "game" is commonly referred to as a SIMULATOR ;-)No, there is currently no map INTEGRATED directly in FlightGear, however there is a separate application called "Atlas" which is specifically meant to fill that very void, available at: http://atlas.sourceforge.netBasically, you will run FlightGear and tell it to output positional information via a network interface (configurable address & port), depending on whether you run FlightGear directly from a shell or using a launcher such as fgrun, you will want to add the --atlas option. The output from FlightGear is then used by Atlas to show your position on a map, which you can automatically create using the "Map" utility which is a part of the Atlas package. See the Atlas webpage/mailing list for further information.
