March 1, 200620 yr HelloI am running FlightGear v 0.9.9 on Windows XP.I am having a problem where the simulation freezes at some point when I get too far away from the takeoff airport. On some occasions I can Ctrl-Alt-Delete and get the task manager and kill the application. On others, I have to reboot the computer.Any thoughts on what I should do ?/ Fredrik

(wizard,console/shell)- what startup parameters are used?- any error messages or warnings in console window?- is the problem in any way specific to certain conditions (airport, aircraft, weather/visibility etc.)?Thanks
March 2, 200620 yr HiNow it happened again and I managed to get some log text from the console window. This is what it says:Attempt to divide by zero in method FGColumnVector3::operator/(const double scalar), object 09D0BF98Some changes to the code seem neccesary.

March 4, 200620 yr Mine appears only to freeze like you say when I have 'Real weather fetch' checkbox selected. It appears to get the correct weather the first time but im thinking it may have a problem the next time it tries to fetch it.Just an idea. Hope it helps.
