March 4, 200620 yr Have just installed FG in my iMac (17" screen,OS X 10.4) and I can get started with no problems. I do have some questions.a) is it possible to resize de windows to fit the scree; right now it seems that I can only operate with the default size (too small to enjoy) or full screen, which leaves out a section of the bottom.:( I do not see anywhere to choose between using keyboar, mouse or joystickc) I understand there is more than one way to start the program, with different advantages; i can only see FG in one place, and start by clicking on it. Is this explained somewhere? Thanks to any of you who can help this newbie getting started.Teaks

On the other hand, the "right thing" to do would be to simply start FlightGear in full screen mode for whatever resolution you picked, this should automatically resize the window appropriately to fit your screen setup.:( you do not have to choose between any of the input methods at startup because all three modes are supported simulatenously, that is you should usually be able to simply use a mouse, keyboard and joystick by simply using either control directly.c) FlightGear has a whole number of possible startup parameters that affect it behaviour, these should all be shown if you run:fgfs --help --verboseFlightGear's official GUI starter frontend "fgrun" should expose the majority of parameters via an intuitive graphical user interface, so that you don't have to use a shell at all. However, I am not sure what sort of GUI frontend you are using under Mac OS?
March 10, 200620 yr I can answer Question A. To fit the window to the screen just press the green button at the top of your window when you open flght gear.(if you don't know where im talking about, theres a red, yellow and green button) :-beerchug
