March 22, 200620 yr is there a way of putting more airports into the initial airport list that appears in the flightgear launcher? Currently only a small number appear in that list, and if instead I run flightgear then try to select an airport from the second airport list that appears from selecting the menu, I still seem to remain at the same airport, rather than going to the one I selected, even though I have downloaded scenery for those other airports.

So if you installed any scenery meanwhile, you will probably want to update the airports cache file in order to make newly installed scenery/airports available in fgrun (see first wizard page in fgrun).>Currently only a small number appear in that list, and if>instead I run flightgear then try to select an airport from>the second airport list that appears from selecting the menu,>I still seem to remain at the same airport, rather than going>to the one I selected, even though I have downloaded scenery>for those other airports.switching airports directly in FlightGear, is currently best done by going to the "location" menu and then, going to change "ground location", entering the airports's ICAO ID as well as runway number, next clicking "ok". Unlike fgrun, this method doesn't bother if you have scenery installed for the corresponding airport or not, it will simply take you to the correct coordinates-if there is no scenery available, you will only get to see ocean.
