March 26, 200620 yr Hallo, I am using cygwin, openall and plib to install the SimGear. Everything is working correctly and the directories are the same as in the cygwin tutorial. I can do make and install for plib and openall and also for zlib, but still the simGear has errors during make. On of the errors is: In file included from ../simgear/sound/soundmgr_openal.hxx:50, from visual_enviro.cxx;33://fg-0.9.9/include/AL/alc.h:39: error: syntax error before '*' token//fg-0.9.9/include/AL/alc.h:51: error: 'ALCcontext' was not declared in this scope. Is it any special library that I need to install for SIMGear 9?something special? Are there any turorials for installing version 9?thank you.

What version of OpenAL have you installed?Did you compile OpenAL yourself, or did you install a pre-compiled binary? Also, as you are compiling FG from source, you should consider discussing any issues on the developer's mailing list:http://www.flightgear.org/mail.html
