April 12, 200620 yr thats the link! i don't even know where to start, what to type in, where to type it?
April 12, 200620 yr >thats the link! i don't even know where to start, what to>type in, where to type it?well, these are startup parameters that you need to specify to the fgfs binary during startup, you can either do this via command line arguments or by using a custom ~/.fgfsrc file.On the other hand, if you are really not familiar with a shell environment, you might want to consider starting FlightGear using a GUI frontend. How exactly are you currently starting FlightGear? Are you using a shell or a GUI launcher? If you should have trouble getting multiplayer to work for you, I would recommend to check back with the MacFlightGear forum: http://sourceforge.net/projects/macflightgear or even better, with the FlightGear mailing lists: http://www.flightgear.org/mail.html
April 12, 200620 yr >im just clicking on the application and using thatthat's not very specific, there are multiple ways (and also tools) to start FlightGear, some of which may only be available on certain platforms. So, it's hard to follow your pretty sparse descriptions if you don't provide the corresponding details. As I do not have access to a Mac personally, I am also unable to try to reproduce your descriptions, so if you find yourself unable to provide the corresponding information, you may in fact find it easier to get in touch with other Mac users, using either the aforementioned sourceforge forum or the FlightGear mailing lists.
April 13, 200620 yr i click on the app, then a window pops up and it asks me what aircraft, airport and gives me advanced options thing and a checkable box that says download scenery on the fly. then at the bottom theres a button that says start flight. what do i do from there for multi play?

Your best bet would thus be to simply get in touch with other Mac users, using either the Mac FlightGear forum, or better directly the FlightGear mailing lists.Apart from that, everything that's mentioned on the Multiplayer Wiki page should be directly applicable, regardless of whether you are using a launcher or shell. Also, as I said already you could use the ~/.fgfsrc file (or a custom config) in order to preserve the settings, so that you don't need to explicitly specify them.
