error on 707 download

Featured Replies

im on a mac using flightgear 9.9 it keeps quiting when i load the 707 plane! also is there version 9.10 for mac yet?

yeah, the same happens to me when i try and use a downloaded model.

ok, here are some of the specs and things that were on that page;1.42ghz processor, 512mb RAM, 64mb graphics card, mac osx 10.4 and flight gear v9.9. im not runing anything else while running flightgear, its installed onto the desktop in a package. all the preinstalled planes work fine, it stops working when i download any new planes and try and use them. i install them into the aircraft folder with all the other planes and the plane appears in the list on the startup box. it will go through the process of loading scenery and subsytems etc, but when it finishes that, it just quits with no error message.i hope you can help

So, the workaround is to simply update your FlightGear binary or only use aircraft that work with older versions of FG.

it seems that the planes i was trying to use were too new for my version because i downloaded an older plane and that works finethanks for your help!
