Turns left-URRG

Whenever I accelerate down the runway in FG, it always seems to go off to the left. It gets really annoying, and before I knowit I am off the runway(but not in the air). :(

>Whenever I accelerate down the runway in FG, it always seems>to go off to the left. It gets really annoying, and before I>knowit I am off the runway(but not in the air). :(I've noticed this on some, but not all of the available aircraft. If you are using autocoordination (Joystick/Mouse controlling flaps/aerleons and rudder) it can be a particular problem because as you try to steer the aircraft down the runway (rudder), you are also moving the wing surfaces.Coupled with this, if you have crosswinds enabled, etc. it makes for a tricky take-off scenario.Try flying without autocoordination and control the rudder using the "pedals" (arrow keys?).Another thing to watch out for: Some aircraft have a steerable nosewheel which may also be affected by autocoordination. The nosewheel obviously has an effect until you reach rotation (nose lifted).Of course, I may be completely wrong.Don't give up - keep trying different things - it's worth the effort!

You didn't provide much useful information (i.e. version of FG, type of aircraft, input hardware, runtime settings etc), so we would be forced to make lots of guesses in order to be able to come up with suggestions for possible fixes, however:1) Check out the available documentation, it also talks about propeller torque/p-factor related issues:http://www.flightgear.org/Docs/getstart/getstart.pdf / http://www.flightgear.org/Docs/getstart/getstart.htmlhttp://www.flightgear.org/Docs/Tutorials/f...chool_0.0.3.pdf2) Search the forums and mailing lists, i.e. related forum threads:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...g_id=1374&page=http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...g_id=1258&page=If you are sure that the problem you encounter, is neither:- specific to the version of FG you are using- specific to the aircraft/FDM (version) you are using (i.e. by verifying that other aircraft don't behave differently)- propeller torque-related (i.e. by verifying that multi-engine aircraft don't behave differently)- specific to any runtime settings (airport, weather/winds) (i.e. by changing/resetting the corresponding runtime settings)- specific to the input hardware you are using (joysticks, pedals etc) (i.e. by disconnecting the corresponding input hardware)... then, check out the following pages:http://seedwiki.com/wiki/flight_gear/how_t...you?wpid=247004http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.htmlwhich should provide you with an overview about what sort of information is usually required to be able to provide competent support. Feel free to come back with the required data, by either posting here or to the FlightGear mailing lists: http://www.flightgear.org/mail.html
