Su-26 Alpha release for test

Featured Replies

Here is an alpha release of the Su-26M for first tests. It is fairly unfinished so please do not expect first class finish. Textures are crappy. If any artists would like improving this, I'd be happy to get some help on that department. I am looking for feedback on handling qualities to fine tune the flight model. Also interesting would be to know what is the minimum computer spec to run this model at a decent framerate (lots of high resolution textures). Finally I included a draft of the flight manual with the archive so feel free to post your comments for corrections and/or additionsPlease provide your feedback on this threadhttp://sfp1.site.voila.fr/images/sf.pnghttp://sfp1.site.voila.fr/Transferts/Su_26M.tgz

Hi Flying Toaster, although you say it is quite unfished, your Su 26 aircraft has already professional quality - the 3d model inside and outside is very nice and one cannot believe that it is your first aircraft design! And you spend much time creating this very nice PDF "flight manual". Something I really miss for some other nice aircrafts for FG. Once getting sim-airborne, this little overpowered beast is pure joy to fly - to be true, far away from controlled aerobatics now :-)Much left to train and learn, but this is what we are looking for, I think! This is all I can say for now after only a short testing phase.Thank you for this outstanding contribution for FlightGear.Georg "HeliFlyer" EDDW
