I would like to use the Flightgear Scenery Designer, however it seems like alot of work to download the source, then install Cygwin etc. just to compile it for my machine. In fact I spent a good two hours attempting to do just that, without success. Is there a compiled exe available for the windows platform?Brian

Hi,thanks to Frederic Bouvier and Martin Spott you can get precompiled Windows versions of different FlightGear programs fromftp://ftp.ihg.uni-duisburg.de/FlightGear/Win32For you, the latest FlightGear Scenery Designer:ftp://ftp.ihg.uni-duisburg.de/FlightGear/...32-20060423.zipIf you want to use the latest development version of FlightGear with the newest improvements (and also the newest bugs) you can get a precompiled FlightGear CVS version:ftp://ftp.ihg.uni-duisburg.de/FlightGear/...32-20060801.zipJust copy this into the ...binWin32 folder. But it is MANDATORY to combine this new FG version with the newest FG data, you can get it from here:http://cvs.flightgear.org/cgi-bin/viewvc/viewvc.cgi/data/You'll find a link a the bottom of the page "Download tarball".WinZip does a pretty good job to unzip this under Win32 :-)But be warned - really big download, nothing for dial-up!No problem for a fast DSL connection :-)Hope this helpsRegardsGeorg "HeliFlyer" EDDW

Awesome! Thanks!Brian
