I have a few questions about flight gear

Featured Replies

I dont understand how really to configure a plane to make Contrails?I cant find any good add ons for Flight gear besides the so does anyone have any good links? The B777 that I downloaded doesnt seem to be working the error message says the WGL_ARB_Extension String is not supported?I also downloaded some liverys for the 737 and I dont know how to installl it into the plane?Any help would be obliged greatly.

I can help with contrails. The contrails are submodels, and are defined in a submodels.xml file. They are usually set to be triggered by the property called "contrail-altitude". The contrail altitude is defined in preferences.xml, and you can set it to anything you like. I like to set it at a low altitude for testing purposes when making new contrails.BTW, the path to the submodels file must be specified in your *-set.xml file, and the AI system must be turned on (since submodels are just AI ballistic objects).

>The B777 that I downloaded doesnt seem to be working the error>message says the WGL_ARB_Extension String is not supported? Are you sure the same error doesn't occur with other aircrafts as well, because it sounds like FlightGear doesn't support your graphic card.

Yeah but it overides the others.
