Hi all,i'm pretty new to flightgear (i've tried some time ago and now i've come back on it) and i like helicopters, especially the Chinook. In download page i've found that there's this helicopter and i've (obviously) tried it, but i've found that the external view of this helicopter is the same of the defualt flightgear helicopter (eurocopter bo150) and the sound is not working. Someone know if it's a my fault (for example, an installation error, or similar) or if it's really in this way?Thankyou very muchWhiteDragon

You installed the aircraft correctly. I took a look at the configuration files, and it should behave like a CH-47. The author probably just didn't have a 3d model of a CH-47, so they used the bo105 model instead.As for the sound, I'm not sure I can help you there, since I can't fly the aircraft. I'm using a recent CVS version and the CH-47 is apparently incompatible with the recent changes to the YASim code.
