Jetways and plane movement

Featured Replies

I was wondering what was causing the Concorde that I have and the T38 to be so uncontrollable. Their seems to be a issue. I also notice that when Im flying around theirs only about 3 seconds of movement that the plane makes then stops then does it again and again as it flys and does other tasks. Could it be frame rate or something?I also was asking if there was anyway I could create a system that once you reach a point near a airport like KSFO you could some how get hooked up to the jetways or something or make a jetway system to increase the realism of the plane. Another function that I wish was more present in the planes is the reverse thrusters when landing. Could any of this be done through a program?

I have that problem with the Concorde, but not the T-38. I don't know the solution for it.As for the jetways, go to http://fgfsdb.stockill.org and download the global objects and shared models. There is a very nice model of the Orly (LFPO) terminal which includes jetways. Try starting there, and if you installed the objects correctly you should see the terminal. Also, there are models of the terminals for many other airports. And if you want to add jetways to KSFO, the package you downloaded should include models of a few jetways. The 777, Citation, and Fokker 70/100 have thrust reversers. And you can add reversers to other aircraft if you want,

I think you just have to add a keybinding and write a short nasal function for it. Try looking through the aircraft that have reversers.

You can go to the Flightgear Objects Database (the URL is in my previous post) and download and install the global objects. If you instal them correctly there should be jetways at some airports (like LFPO). If you want to place jetways at airports that don't have them you can find the 3d model and place it usng the UFO.
