After I put the nosecone up in mid air, the plane starts making these clicking noises, then a few minutes after that, the engine cuts out, and everything basically fails. I can't even put the landing gear down...I also have this other problem where the plane flies for a few seconds, then for about a half second, freezes, then keeps going.I would appreciate it if someone would help...

I can't>even put the landing gear down...>>>I also have this other problem where the plane flies for a few>seconds, then for about a half second, freezes, then keeps>going.>>I would appreciate it if someone would help...there are certainly various people who'd like to be able to help you, however the descriptions you've provided so far are pretty lacking, you even left out most of the usually required background information about your system (platform/hardware/OS), FlightGear version, FlightGear startup/runtime settings, input hardware,console messages etc).Thus, you may want to check out the troubleshooting section at http://wiki.flightgear.org in order to get an impression of the information that's usually required in order to enable us to provide further support.Also, you need to realize that not all FlightGear aircraft can be considered to be entirely "fly-able" in all flight regimes, thus the info you have ommitted could in fact be crucial to allow other users to verify whether they can reproduce the same problem or not.
