Joystick fails to work on Windows!!!

The relevant information: Windows 98 First Edition CH Products Yoke and CH Pro PedalsThe Pro Pedals are detected as being "Joystick 0", while the Yokeappears as "Joystick 1".joysticks.xml contains the following:js_demo.exe is difficult to use, because its output is wider than 80 columns. I have tried all 13 buttons and all 5 axes on the yoke, but the readings do not change.The yoke works fine in other simulator programs. But FlightGear and its js_demo program fail to read the yoke for some reason.I am guessing that this might be a bug in FlightGear.

But>FlightGear and its js_demo program fail to read the yoke for>some reason.>I am guessing that this might be a bug in FlightGear.FYI:while it is very well possible and likely that there are plenty of bugs in FlightGear, posting such assumptions without ANY sort of technical backup, is generally considered unpopular as it is hardly helpful.You may not be aware of it, but if you check out the mailing list and forum archives, you'll find that many other FlightGear users are using the USB CH PRODUCTS YOKE/PEDAL combination together with FlightGear-SUCCESSFULLY, even though I have admittedly not heard personally of people actually using it with such an old version of Windows. So, I myself would be much more suspicious concerning the OS/drivers you may be using, instead of attributing the problem to FlightGear in general, which in fact is known to work together with the hardware setup you described on other platforms/OS (versions).You used the term "xterm" in your original posting, suggesting you may be familiar with Linux/Unix: if you are able to install and setup FlightGear under Linux, it would be interesting to know whether you are able to reproduce the problem or not.THIS is the sort of info that's generally considered useful!
