Airbus A300

Okay, so it is not finished, and it has several problems. Notably:* Little animation -- I was planning on redoing this model one day, so I didn't bother much with the animation. :-hah* Landing gears sunk into the ground -- It is actually meant to be this way! It's just that I haven't added the animation for the compression of the oleos yet. Sorry. :(* It doesn't have autopilot -- Well, learn to fly manually, you lazy bums. :-hahI will eventually give it a huge update. But now, at least we can have another airliner that can fly across the pond other than the 747. :-hahhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/158115.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/158114.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/158113.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/158112.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/158111.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/158110.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/158109.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/158108.jpg

Gorgeous ! From the shots I guess it is a A300-B4 without "winglets" and with outboard ailerons (which is just nice, because you'll only need electromechanical instruments on that one). But it seems the leading edge fence is missing, as well as a dorsal fairing :/. Check this picture :http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=1120...=1120083&size=L Did you really make all the fan blades one by one ? Now it only needs people to start painting liveries on all that primer ;)

Haha, you know, there is a shorter link right on that same page which you can use. :( Anyway...>But it seems the leading edge fence is missing, as well as a dorsal>fairing :/.I thought the A300 doesn't have dorsal fairing. > Did you really make all the fan blades one by one ?No. The "engine manufacturer" did. ;)

I only see this default glider.

Right now, it uses the cockpit of the old A320, which has dependencies on files in the 747 directory. So, make sure you have the 747 installed.Sorry for the inconvience.By the way, when you launch the plane in FlightGear, the plane only has around 10% of fuel onboard and is almost at Operating Empty Weight. So if you are going to fly it without filling up the tanks first, keep in mind that the plane would be agile and sensitive to the throttles.

Try this: go to the aircraft's directory, then go into Models/Wings and rename trailing_b2.3ds into b2.trailing.3ds.

Oh this aircraft has come a long way. With retractable gear plus some nice engines. I just have to learn how to control it. It seems so powerful.

That's because the plane is empty. Fill up the tanks and it would become less agile.
