New Model of the Eurocopter EC 135 nearly ready

Featured Replies

Hi,The 3D model of the Eurocopter EC 135 is nearly done. Some small things have to be done (I forgot to cut out the rear doors *g*).My problems are the animation of the rotor system and the instruments, but I'm sure I fix that!So have fun with a very early alpha version of the Eurocopter Ec 135!http://www.hoerbird.de/bilder/ec135.alpha.jpgDownload: www.hoerbird.de/ec135.rarGreetingsHHS

this is also a pretty nice model, however for future versions/releases you may want to consider using a different compression format, while FlightGear itself does have a *nix background, and as such favorably uses compressed tarballs (*.tgz, *.bz2), under Win32 the ZIP format seems to be much more common-which is also much more likely to be an acceptable compromise for *nix/Win32 users, simply because it can usually be easily used/accessed without requiring separate/additional tools. There are free archiving tools available for the absolute majority of compression formats, you may for example want to check out "izarc" which allows you to easily create/extract archives in pretty much arbitrary formats.

Hi,Thanks, this is what M.Franz said - I will use Tarball for the next release and it will be in the CVS.I'm still working on it - the animation of the rotors still missing. But soon it will come!GreetingsHHS
