L-410 & MD-11 problem

Featured Replies

Hello,Could you please help me, is the L-410 and MD-11 aircrafts working? FGFS can't start and crashes with both (I see "Aborting" message with L-410, and something longer with MD-11, I would quote it later, when I will be at home :-) ).I was trying with 0.9.10, and with latest Windows OSG and PLIB builds, but result is always the same.Am I do something wrong again? ;)Thanks in advance.

Hi,I can't say anything about the L-410 but the MD-11 works with the latest OSG build and a PLIB compilation about a week old.No intensive tests, but it loads and I could start and fly it.The missing gear parts and some other aspects might be due to an early Alpha development state of the a/c.If you used the latest OSG and PLIB builds, did you remember to update the FlightGear "data" folder from CVS? New builds and new data-updates belong together.RegardsGeorg "Heliflyer" EDDW

I apologize for the crappiness state the MD-11 is in. Har har. :-hahOne day, I will fix it; but not today.

Hello,Just to help a little, I succeeded in flying with the MD11 by transforming all the file 3DS into AC and modifying file XML consequently. It is a little heavy, but that functions.

I've got MD-11 flying; the problem was in "fgrun" utility: when I updated it, I found MD-11 working. Seems like, an old one construct wrong command-line to start fgfs...L-410 still doesn't works ("Flightgear aborting" message). Also, I found, that B-707 doesn't works too. Upon starting, fgfs wrote something like "jsb-sim FDM error: Undefined property: METRIC" (I can't remember, later I could copy an entry message).I use 15.11.2006 plib build of fgfs, and "data" folder downloaded from CVS about two weeks ago.
