Have there been reported problems using the "Integrated ATI RADEON EXPRESS 200" computer restarted to "recover from a serious error." graphics card?Lately, my graphics card has been stalling at game startup, and then performing it badly after it "unfreezes". Also, my video card crashed and the I am using a 2.19 GHz Compaq Presario with 960 mb of RAM.

When this happens to you, if it is indeed a similar situation, do the 3D clouds basically turn black? And then for me the sound gets messed up after a minute or two of the error.This has been happening quite often lately. I want to play FlightGear, but do not want to ruin my computer :-doh

Hi Xaviernox ....I couldn't say about the 3D clouds, I had them disabled at the time.In my case ....After getting the error, EVERYTHING went down!:-eekBut I am starting to think we may have both experienced different, although perhaps related problems.I feel that the RAM on our video cards was or is at the root of the problem, but yours seems more seriously affected than my own.I delayed my reply to play with FG in a variety of locales* and with a variety of aircraft*, and haven't had a recurrence of the problem at all. I also haven't had, I'm glad to say, any problems with my video card at all when using other demanding applications.Sorry to see that you seem to have a bit of a handful here !Perhaps you could let us have a few more details regarding the aircraft file and scenery file you were using at the time of your first experience ?(*I must say that I haven't yet plucked up the courage to try the 747 out of Le Bourget again .........)If I do have any problems, rest assured I will let you know .....Best Regards,John

Im was just using what came with the download, nothing extra.. default parameters also.Would an earlier version work better, as the graphics are a little less demanding?
