How much Hd space does FlightGear v1.0.0 CDROM for Windows take on your computer? I'm thinking about getting it.

It's not flight gear taking the big space, it's the 4 DVD set of scenery files that will consume about 15GB of hard disk space, mostly because it is a GAZILLION of tiny files.But you only need that if you want scenery world wide. There is a Linux command line tool that downloads scenery as you fly. But to get that running on Windows you need to know how to use Cygwin and operate the gcc compiler on a command line... This is definitely not something for those who are used to click "install" and go ;)
