April 1, 200422 yr I want to edit the night lighting mask (texture) on a couple of AI Freighters (747-200F) to take out the window lights. The textures look great in the day, but at night they have PAX lighting. I figured I could just erase the side lighting except for the door portals. I tried to open the texture in Adobe Photoshop and it did not recognize the format. I opened it in Paint Shop Pro, and I did not get what I thought I was going to. (the format was really messed up). Can someone give me a little instuction on how I might accomplish this? (First, how do I open the texture to view it?)Dennis
April 1, 200422 yr Dennis, use either DXTbmp or Imagetool to convert the textures for editing, make them 32bit and save as *.tga (targa), this will keep the alpha embedded). After you have edited the texture, don't forget to edit the night alpha too, then just re-convert back through either DXTbmp or Imagetool and save as either 32 bit or DXT3.Regards,Bob Jones
