Hi guys! I am using psp 9 and the FSD porter paint kit and am having a problem(I am new to painting). I have made a layer to put the base colors on and it is right beneathe the detail layer. The detail layer seems to have all white in the area where I would want to paint, so when I put on base color it is not visible through the white..I can adjust the slider on the detail layer so that I can see the red underneath(actually pink) but then I lose my details less details=more red, more details=light pink,etc. I am sure there is something really simple to handle this, how do you make everything that is white transparent on the detail layer?..but I could use some help..Thanks in advance, Todd

Just set your "paint" layer to multipy in the layer properties box.Dan.
