August 25, 200520 yr Midwest Airlines, formerly Midwest Express, and based here in Milwaukee, changed its paint scheme to reflect its new name. So, when its new B717-200s began to fly out of Milwaukee with the newpaint scheme, there was a phase out of its DC-9s.But the big MD80s are staying, yet only one has thus far been painted in the new scheme. The rest have the new tail logo, as well as the "MIDWEST" name on the fuselage. But they lack the new full blue rear fuselage section, as well as the sharp looking blue engine nacelles with gold strips at the inlets. So far my search for the new paint job is only available (as AI) from PAI on their B717 model. I haven't been able to locate a nice MD80 with the new scheme from either Aardvark, or FS Painter.Anybody seen one? Anybody care to paint one? So far there is only one in real world aviation. It's a beauty too. Thanks in advance for your consideration!Rick (KMKE)
