Painting over aircraft windows

Featured Replies

I am currently working on a repaint for the PMDG B1900C using the paintkit from their website. I can't seem to figure out how to paint OVER the windows. I have searched the forums with no success. I have tried working with every layer possible that might be responsible for the windows but cannot seem to cover them up! (the SkyLink cargo plane I am painting has white, opaque windows)This is my first 'real' attempt at a repaint; so far, the paintkit tutorial has been very helpful.Any ideas would be great.I am using Photoshop 7, DXTBmp and the PMDG B1900 Paintkit. Thanks in advance,Al

Hi Al,you can't paint over the windows as they are cut out on the model.Regards,Bob JonesFlight Factory-Simulations

Hi Bob,Thanks for the info. I would have been bashing my head against the wall after a while trying to figure this one out.Cheers,Al

Geesh I feel stupid. I just realized that the cargo model of the 1900C has windows that can be painted. It would make sense to use this model since I am repainting a cargo plane.:-rollAlas I will learn...
