January 9, 200620 yr Hi everybody,This is my first posting on this forum and I guess this is directed to Brian Fletcher regarding his review on the new FS Design Studio V3 and VASS programmes. The review states:-There are three more programs that you must have in order for FSDS to function properly. First you will need to visit the Microsoft download center and pick up Msxml 4. After downloading this file, it can be automatically installed on your computer. The same goes for the other two files, "Make MDL" and "BGL Comp", both of which can be acquired from the Flight Simulator homepage. Failure to obtain these additional programs will prevent FSDS from being able to compile aircraft and scenery models, and possibly prohibit other features from working properly. This has me a little confused as I'm not sure if it relates to FS9 or the Windows XP Service Pack 2. Surely the programme would have the necessary components to allow for a "proper" installation?? I have XP Service Pack 2 installed and the latest "fix" for FS9...what more does one need. I'm about to purchase both programmes with a view to producing my own model of the Lockheed L-188 Electra in Australian liveries, so I'd like to know more about those three file and why they mention "SDK" at the end of the downloadable files...Help!!!CheersPeter:-wave
