OOPs - Transparent Wings ???

Featured Replies

First - I aologize if this is a really stupid question. I'm really really new at this. I've been doing my first repaint. I've been using FS Repaint V2 and alternating between the built-in texture editor and Paint Shop Pro 7. Everything was going along fine and the A/C looked good in FS Repaint. The when I tried to fly it in FSX - the fuselage looked fine but the wings and tail were transparent. Obviously I've screwed up the 2 wings.bmp files, but I don't know how or how to fix it - if I can.Could anyone give me help or at least a clue? Thanks

Maybe a problem with the alpha channel? Open the BMP files with your image editor, then go to the tab "Channels" (i don't have experience with PSP, but it surely got a area where it displays the channels of the image file). When you find the alpha channel, see if its color is to dark - if so, fill the channel with a lighter color.I hope it helps...

Thanks for the reply. That was the problem. Somehow I managed to make the Alpha Channel black, but only the wings. Once I reset it to white, everything works fine.
