May 24, 200521 yr OK, here's the deal..I'm a final year student at uni studying industrial design. For my final project i've designed a GA cockpit for the year 2020 and i've made a full size mock-up of it.I've also bought some FDS and GoFLight switches and circuit boards to turn it into an FS simulator. But i need an autopilot gauge that i can assign switch/knob functions to.Hans Hartmann of flight1 has made me an MFD and an HUD but says he hasn't got the time to do an autopilot. is anyone willing to make a quick one for me? I don't have the knowledge/software/time to do it, so i'd really appreciate the help.Basically it works a little bit like the airbus FCU but doesn't have all the fancy fly by wire protection envelope stuff.it should be self explanitory from the picture except to say that when turning the knobs, it sets the value on the display, but it doesn't activate the new target spd/hdb/alt/vs until you push the knob in.If you can help either reply here or e-mail [email protected] thing is being shown at an exhibition from Friday 3rd June so i need it by this weekend or early next week if you are up for the challenge! Thanks, Mark
