Newbee data access

Featured Replies

I have been looking at microsoft flight sim with a view to use its flight model and cockpit displays to drive a multi channel image generator system. I have found a number of products such as fsconnect and fsuipc which seem to be able to get data from within flight sim and display it. I have also found the microsoft sdk's.To start with I want to be able to get the position and attitude of the aircraft in real time. Has any one had any experence of getting this sort of data direct from flight sim or using any the available products. Ant help or examples would be a great help.Thnaks

I think you nailed it already - FSUIPC does a great job of getting the data. And it's relatively simple to use.Senior Captain, Pier Glass Aviation
